I got the shade "Bouquet" which is a bright raspberry shade. The lipstick is quite heavy compared to most. It's not metal but it is a metallic plastic. The very top flips up so you can see the color of the lipstick through a little plastic lens. There is also a tiny mirror on the inside of the lid that actually works for application while on the go. This lipstick has a petroleum feel to it and it goes on with a glossy finish. It does not dry down and it is not long lasting. If you eat, it will disrupt the lipstick but I find that it doesn't get too messy like some lipsticks. It can bleed upward if you have fine lines around your lips. I think this is an issue because I have a darker color, but may not be an issue with a lighter shade. When I use this with a lipliner this is no longer an issue and the bleeding is so minimal I don't bother with lip liner most days. My lips definitely feel more moisturized after using this, which is a major reason why I use it almost daily right now. Even though "bouquet" is a very spring color, I find it works great for the holidays too.
The only thing I dislike about this lipstick is the scent. Sometimes I can "taste" the scent when I first put it on. Since it's a flowery scent it's kind of gross to taste that. Why would you put a floral scent in a lipstick? I get that it's called bouquet but I don't want to taste the bouquet...
